Lake & Beach
Beach Access
The Barry Lakes beach is private and is for members in good standing.
- Beach Badges must be worn at all times.
- Hours: 12:00pm - 5:00pm daily when lifeguards are present.
- Swimming is permitted in the designated area only.
- Parking permits must be visible on all vehicles parked in the beach parking lot
- Fishing and/or boating is not permitted in designated swimming areas.
Guests & Guest Passes
Guest passes will be issued for up to ten (10) guests per family with a refundable deposit.
- A member not in good standing may not be a guest of a member in good standing.
- Other non-members as described in the Constitution Article III, Section B. may not be guests.
Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are provided free of charge to all members in good standing. Signups will be announced and can be done at the beach house.
Pets
All Pets must be properly licensed in accordance with the Vernon Township ordinance and must be leashed at all times. No pets will be permitted in the beach area at any time.
Boating & Boat Racks
Boat Racks
- Boat rack registration for the 2026 begins Tuesday, April 7th 2026.
- Boat rack are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
- You must register with the office to in order to be assigned a boat rack.
- NEW 2026 - a $50 refundable deposit is required when registering with the office and receiving your boat sticker. Deposits will be refunded provided your boat(s) are removed prior to the November 30th deadline.

Boating
- Only battery powered trolling motors are permitted on all L.C.P.O.A. lakes.
- All New Jersey State boating regulations will be adhered to.

Lake Water Analysis
Our lake water is regularly tested and monitored to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and visitors. Treatments are performed when necessary based on test results and environmental conditions. Detailed findings, water quality data, and term definitions can be found in the attached analysis report.
